Entrance to the Clark Memorial Bridge (then called the Louisville Municipal Bridge) at 2nd and Main St in 1930. Note the toll booth in the middle of the road. The KFC Yum Center now sits where the old LG&E plant was on the left of the picture. Note the backside of the “Louisville” sign on top of the LG&E building on the left - it said "Louisville - Gateway to the South".
